About Us

From radio to live theatre to the Sydney Opera House, Laura Milke Garner has worked behind the scenes of shows with big names, up-and-comers and everyone in between.

 

Just a few highlights include working as a producer and project coordinator for ten years at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Melbourne Fringe, working at Triple R as the Special Events and Sponsorship Manager and was producer of the 2006 season of The Breakfast Show on Channel 31. Laura also created and produced the award winning Whodunnit Live Radio Plays which played at the The Arts Centre in Melbourne, Sydney Opera House, won the Melbourne Fringe “Festival Directors Choice Award” and developed into a regular segment on Rove (Network Ten).

 

Since establishing MILKE in 2008,  Laura has creatively developed and produced major work for the Brisbane Power House, Melbourne Theatre Company, Sydney Opera House, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Melbourne International Arts Festival, Network Ten, 3RRRFM, Channel 31, The Arts Centre, Melbourne Fringe Festival, The Store Room, La Mama, Fortyfive Downstairs and the Adelaide Fringe Festival.
